I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined...I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before me, Open up a brand new window, Let the sun illuminate the words that I could not find
Reaching for something in the distance, So close I can almost taste it, Release my inhibitions, Feel the rain on my skin
No one else can feel it for me, Only I can let it in, No one else can speak the words on my lips, Drench myself in words unspoken,
Live my life with arms wide open...
...Today is where my book begins
The rest is of still unwritten...

WRAP GODDESS! First and foremost, thank you for reading my story. To begin, I am an animal lover, activist, rescuer, supporter, protector and I will be as long as I have breath in my lungs.
Animals do have a voice. If you ignore their suffering, I will remind you of it. If you don't understand them, I will translate. If you don't hear them, I will be their voice. You may silence them but you cannot silence me as long as I live.
Okay, so you now know one of my greatest passions in life...the innocents.
I also believe in a holistic and synergistic approach to health, happiness and wellness. I have personally been at both ends of the spectrum, and I know in my mind and heart that the only way to peace and wellness is the belief in yourself, spiritual faith, physical and mental harmony, passion for doing what you love to do and TRUE COMPASSION FOR ALL BEINGS. You have to take care of your body inside and out...it won't do it for you. I am a true testament to that. Those of you who know me, know of my struggles - past and current. Those of you who don't...keep reading...if anything it's a fun short story, hopefully interesting and worth the read.
So, for most of my adult life I have been told, "Be your own boss". It always sounded good, but remained an afterthought...an unwritten one. Fast forward to today. "Today is the first day of the rest of my life"...well if not literally (though it actually is literally the first of the rest of my life), at least figuratively. Let's leave it at that.
I am not ordinary in any way, shape or form. I like it that way. The one thing that I do relate to in an ordinary way is fear of change...fear of believing in something I cannot see. I don't think that is so out of the ordinary either.
So.....after one too many bouts of bad luck, karma, sh*t, or whatever you'd like to call it, I was having a weepy lunch with a friend. My sweet and precious gift of a friend suggested..."Be your own boss...start your own business". There were those words again..."Be your own boss"... an "Entrepreneur". Really? At this stage of my life? The strange thing is that somehow it sounded better than just "good"...better than an "afterthought"...no longer "unwritten". It is here that my story begins...
I had been suffering mentally, physically and psychologically for quite some time. I felt awful...all the time. I needed a plan...and I needed it fast. I went to people in my life who had what I wanted...good health, happiness, faith, spirituality, peace, joy, love, laughter and strength...inside and out. I leaned on them for knowledge, support, help and love. They genuinely cared.
I started working out every day, walking every day, nourishing my body with "clean" whole foods, reading, volunteering and practicing yoga (which is hysterical to watch me do). And of course, continued my passion and love for animals.
I started to feel better every day, as this is a lifestyle I believe in. It actually changed my life. I still have issues, as we all do, but I am becoming "bionic me"...stronger, better, faster...but most importantly...HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, MORE PEACEFUL, BALANCED and CALM...at peace with myself. I believe in the synergy of mind, body and spirit more than ever before.
To continue my story, I had a physical scheduled. It was at this time that I I was introduced to the concept It Works!... at my doctor's office (no, not a plastic surgeon...internal medicine) of all places. The receptionist looked like she had lost some weight, especially in her legs, so I commented on how good she looked. She thanked me and asked if I've ever been "wrapped". "Wrapped"? Well, I am not sure if I ever have or not. Did I want to be, did I need to be, should I be, should I run out, should I confidently say, "of course"? Words escaped me. So I asked her what she meant by "wrapped". She then told me that she used (and still does) this "product", and has lost five (YES FIVE) inches in her thighs. Well, she was right in front of me, and it was more than obvious that she had lost a lot of something...and it appeared to be her thighs. I asked her what "it" was, and she briefly explained, "it's this amazing line of health and wellness products that tone your body and helps tighten and rejuvenate, and increase and improve your health inside and out". If I had a dollar for each time I have read or heard that, "I WOULD ALREADY BE MY OWN BOSS". LOL. It was interesting, but not interesting enough, so I signed my house over to handle my visit co-pay, and off I went.
I ran into my sweet and precious friend I previously referred to, and she said to me, "You need to let me wrap you". Here we go again with this wrap thing. I said, let me guess...you're going to rub crap all over my skin, wrap me with cellophane, leave me to "relax" in some room, and I will awaken refreshed, rejuvenated, 10 pounds lighter and sweating like a farm animal on a hot day! We both laughed. You see, I am a skeptic by nature, as I am sure all of you are too. My girlfriend really believed in what she was saying, so I agreed to be "wrapped". I would be a "wrapper"..."Miss Wrap". What did I have to lose (pun intended).
So we decided to wrap my hips as they have morphed into something resembling Swiss cheese, the surface of the moon or whatever word you want to use for cellulite infested. Again, I am not an ordinary woman, but I am when it comes to cellulite. Such a lovely thought.
The "Wrapper" proceeded to wrap the "Wrappee", and off we went. It took five minutes, was actually somewhat pleasant as it smelled nice and felt cool on my skin. I whispered those magic words...abra-cadabra...hips become...um...smaller and less "textured". That was it. Leave it on anywhere from 45 minutes to eight (8) hours. Well of course I chimed in with, I will leave it on for a month if it works! Hmmm, "IT WORKS". Coincidence? I think not. So we took a before picture (always a pleasant moment), measured me (also a fun thing to do) and turned me into a present...a gift of wrapped hips...I am sure a lot of people would want that gift.
Well, I left it on for 3 hours. I was so anxious to see the results, so I hacked into it as if it was Christmas morning, and that the promised gift was just waiting for me. I looked in the mirror, and was as disappointed as I had been in the past. “Ya Gotta Get a Gimmick”. Right? Well this one was obvious…promise someone help in sculpting his/her body, in an untraditional way…and you have a gimmick…until…my “Wrapper” took another picture. No #$%^&* way! I looked at the pictures next to each other, and there it was. NO GIMMICK. I didn’t believe it, so I asked to be measured again, and I HAD LOST THREE (3) INCHES (and yes, they're still gone). Not three (3) inches of water, because I didn’t sweat at all. There was no GIMMICK...“IT WORKS”. "IT WORKS" for MEN and WOMEN alike. C'mon guys, don't tell me you're into your belly as much as you'd like to be or want to be...and yes, it's okay to not care...none of my business. But some of us still do want to be the epitome of health and fitness...I digress.
So as my story continues, and the rest remains unwritten, I can tell you this for certain. This is NOT a gimmick; I’ve witnessed the results on others, some results way better than mine, and some not as strong. I actually believe in this product…not for any other reason than “IT WORKS”. It will not magically make you thin or fit, just like no pill will either. What it will do is work on those areas you hate, you know, the ones that fall into the category of, “if I could change one thing about my body, I’d change my _______!” It will make you feel better, it will make you feel more confident…why? BECAUSE “IT WORKS”!
Still skeptical...You have to see it or feel it to believe it? Look at the results for yourself...get wrapped...play devil's advocate...do your homework...what's the worse that can happen? You "LOSE"!
Thank you for stopping by and listening to a chapter of my life...to be continued...
